When BankOnPurpose was created in 2016, it was intended to be a conference that wouldn’t seem like a standard banking event. No sessions dissecting obscure back-office procedures and no vendors with presentations that were little more than thinly-veiled sales pitches.
Instead, the goal for the first BankOnPurpose Conference was that it live up to its name. The agenda was filled with speakers and sessions on how to shift the focus back to the customer and their needs, how to build a team, a brand, and a bank … with purpose.
